About Us

Belonging to the fairest region of Paarl, our farm Rose Garden Vineyards is located on the lower northern slopes of the Paarl Mountains - a natural beauty where vineyards blend effortlessly with the surrounding mountains. A garden of true splendor surrounded by mountain ranges visible at all angles no matter where you turn to. Nesting at the foot slopes of Voor Paardeberg, famous Horses' Mountain to the north, looking at Table Mountain to the west, its 20 hectares lay sprawling and content, supported by the unique climate of Windmeul Valley - known for centuries for producing excellent wines.

A fourth generation to a family of winemakers. Spent most of his life in the academic field, business, and has been marketing wine for more than twenty years.

He is currently fulfilling his dream by living on this magic land, and producing wine.

Nicolette Keyser
I have many interests and love to spend my time outdoors. I am an avid sportswoman and love new challenges. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, camping or just spending time with friends.
I am passionate about the wine industry, and being a winemaker my passion is intertwined with my daily life. I enjoy spending time sampling new and exciting wines from around the world.

Experience
Winemaker – Durbanville Hills: I was responsible for fermenting all Distell’s external white juice (2,5million L) and taking in their external red grapes.
Winemaker – Bodegas Inakie Nunez in Spain: Handling the 2006 Harvest for this cellar.
Winemaker – Eaglevlei Estate in Stellenbosch: Handling of the 2006 harvest season. 150 tons white and 200 tons red grapes. All winemaking duties, harvest planning, budgets, buying of dry goods and bottling.

Our Philosophy

We aim to produce exclusive wines for the on-trade market, mainly for prestigious restaurants, hotels and specialised liquor stores, as well as all wine lovers. Our wines are mostly full bodied, however, fruity, friendly and easy to drink. We try to highlight the unique qualities of our South African terroir climate, people, and wine heritage through our wine making. When tasting our wines, we hope you agree.
